I am a fourth-generation copywriter who comes from a family of creative thinkers with a passion for ideas and an appreciation for the power of words on the page (or screen, as the case may be). I have always loved writing in any form – poetry, journal entries written under the covers with a flashlight, long letters to friends, song lyrics, short-stories, news stories and novels. I received a B.A. in English from Dickinson College, where I learned the value of a liberal arts education and made lifelong friends.

My experience includes writing for news radio, copywriting, editing, content management, developing email marketing and social media campaigns, and freelance journalism.

As a business partner of Constant Contact, I have received specialized training and education in email marketing, which I have put to use for numerous clients in Arizona, Colorado and California.

Through Rubicam Writing, I focus on how to best communicate with customers to create lasting relationships, helping clients find their “voice” and develop their message, and using publicity and social media to maximize marketing efforts.

I believe that building relationships is one of the most effective tools in business. My goal is to get to know you, find out what makes your business unique, and help you spread the word about your products and services to the right target market.

When I’m not working you can find me hiking or enjoying the outdoors, working on book ideas, spending time with friends and family (that includes dogs, of course) or singing in my car.

I volunteer weekly for Liberty Wildlife and volunteer as a consultant to UMOM New Day Centers.
